| Hi all,
This engine and gearbox was professionaly reconditioned last year as well as having alot of up grades fitted, since then it has only covered around 10 miles.
The upgrades fitted were.
1:5:1 high lift rockers,
Head ported and flowed,
Race/rally cam,
High flow Turbo oil pump,
Hight flow water pump,
Lightened flywheel,
Upgraded clutch,
Bouble duplex timing chain,
It is fitted with an electronic ignition,
Mini cooper s carbs,
And a three branch race exhaust with a 2 inch outlet,
There are a few bad points,
The engine will need timing up properly,
The carbs are slightly over fueling so will need to be re-jetted and balanced,
The oil pressure sender is broke but only a couple quid.
Apart from that it's a cracking engine and I am sad to see it go but is no longer needed,
Alot of money and time spent on this engine and it will not disappoint... Looks rather nice to,
