Location: Jelling, Denmark | so a little over a year ago I bought a rover 75 tourer cdti because it is allowed to tow the trailer with my racing car and because I needed the space for kids and their stuff.
rover 75's and mg zt's are quite expensive here in denmark, so naturally the one I bought had done a lot of miles, 197000 to be precise. After having it a year I must admit I liked the rover 400 I had before better, it drove nicer and I like the k-series engine much better than the m47r diesel.
The car has now done 223000 miles, and it seems that I have or have had just about every possible rover 75 problem. I have fixed excessive outer edge rear tyre wear, replaced two broken rear springs, leaking fuel tank due to a missing seal, cleaned the ecu "bathtub" drain-points twice, polished both headlamps which were milky white, fixed the airbag light, fixed a leaky intercooler. I currently have two broken front lower wishbone mounts and a burned out heated rear window, a thermostat to replace, a bit to much black smoke from the exhaust and cant get the mpg above 42. but at least it isn't rusty
I know this was a bit of a rant. just wanted to share my rover 75 experiences with you
