The wing is a mile out of line, must have been off at somepoint if not replaced. If its been replaced with a non genuine wing then it will be a bitch to line up if at all possible. Your wing looks to be way too high at the moment. To adjust it you need to slacken off all of the screws, including the ones along the edge of the bonnet shut. Firstly pull the wing downwards and tighten up the sill bolt.then work your way around to align the door to the wing. Obviously you need to take into account the body shut line whilst doing this, but you need to try and pull the wing forwards towards the headlight at the same time. You may have to slacken off screws to allow movement in some directions, but only just slacken them, dont loosen them off totally as you will loose any alignment that you have gained already.

If my one looks like this once i am done, i will be more than happy. I believe the white and black theme is called "Stormtroopered Out", i assume thats why you put the sticker there. Apologies if i copy this at all, dont be offended be chuffed that someone is wanting to copy ![]() Great job, look forward to seeing it in person. Edited by OrangeManDan 24/2/2012 9:29 PM

I remember removing the vinyl strips, then getting to the wing and being all confused as to why this side was painted on and the drivers was vinyl. do you think this means it is a non genuine wing, because if it is. i wont bother!

![]() Expert Posts: 8490 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: Midlands | Painted on stripe? That's old school! Well I would say looking at it that there is a good chance that its a non genuine wing but with a bit of manipulation you should be able to make it fit a bit better than it is currently. Genuine wings need a bit of adjustment generally too so its worth a go!
