does anybody know what the max depth or speakers that can be put ind the standard door pockets in the gti are, so that they dont hit the windows winding down stuff? would it be possible to fit 58mm deep speakers?

        Location: Jelling, Denmark | I found the answer to this question my self, so decided to share it with you
If you mount the front door speakers like the guide on this page suggests you do it, you can fit speakers with the measurements shown on the picture bellow.
With these speakers fitted, the electric windows still wind all the way down. The speakers has a tweeter as you can see on the picture, and that just squizes in under the plastic mesh in the door pocket, preferably the tweeter should have been 3 mm smaller, but these measurements does fit.
just thought some might need these numbers
