Your gti looks fantastic, doesn't look like it needs a re-spray to me.

I'll look forward to seeing some more pictures as the build progresses, soom good plans/modifications too.

In the first pics, was the fluid let out of the suspension or lowered and individualised because you've pumped it up in the other pictures?

ive been looking on ebay for these kits; i emailed a guy about the size of the sandwich plate but he was chinese and i cant really understand what he means lol!

he said:

"hi, thanks for checking our store. this oil cooler kit is universal, need to make it fixed up. Center adapter is 20mm-15 threaded, support oil filter that has M20 thread, and M20 block fitting. Two side ports is 1/8 NPT for gauge or other accessories of the sandwich. Please check you car. and if you want to buy it, pls tell me what size adapter you want, so we can ship you the correct one. thanks."

what are the measurments he needs? what did you order?

Beautiful! Only thing id say is it looks too low... kinda looks like it has just had the fluid let out. Id bring the ride height up a fraction personally... as you will be riding round on the bumpstops at the moment which doesnt do the handling any good. Im also from tamworth... did have the Red VVC SI as per my signature below, well will have when i resurrect it!

Aha can always tell a matchstick in the valve lowering job lol... appears to be a tamwrothian special atm! Other thing you need to watch is the fact your shocks will bottom out over speed bumps and could easily crack the inner wings/mounts! Use AVO MGF shocks as they are far more suitable for lowered MEtros as the closed length is shorter. Nah dont really know anyone now with 100's... been off the scene for a while just using my R115 5dr Diesel for the last year... also getting a bit old for the meets in car parks lol!

It's for the zr mate not a metro, it might fit but there's a good chance it won't. I'm really not sure tbh, I know the polybushes of the zr fit mine, but again mate really can't be certain, for 25 quid though it's worth a go
