Picked this up the start of the year haven't done much to it yet as ive had a busy year but plans are to start it over winter. Wanted a more modern engine so i picked the k just because its an easy conversion to get it rear wheel drive and i know my way around the k. The engine is a flat 1.8 Its a rebuilt engine only covered a few miles which i picked up. polished and balanced crankshaft VHPD conrods omega flat top pistons oversize stainless 1 piece valves 26mm exhaust 30mm inlet bored out to suit larger valves port throats opened to match ported head to fast/road/rally matched vvc inlet new 135 cams / might be changed for some better cams. I also had the Engine with mems 1.9 set up on it but ive started to change it all to mems 3 in the picture so i can have a zandf map. Im hoping with the k being a light engine and the car only being as heavy as the metro if not lighter it should be a fun car. cheers hope you like. ![]() ![]() ![]()

I want a light car to chuck around don't fancy big V8 up front. I'm going to mount the engine as far back as I can for good handling. Edited by tommy_b 3/9/2013 3:07 PM

Always have to laugh as most can never figure out mems and run aftermarket and ruin it Haha yeah I have seen a few of them they all seem to do aftermarket a lot of them struggle with the dizy cap against the firewall/bulkhead I think, when it's easy to sod off really. The only thing I'm going to struggle with is the throttle-body but I think a good 90 bend to bring it back towards the front of the car will be ok.

Then a sierra clutch there's one type of sierra clutch that fits same bolt patteren as the Flywheel so bolts straights on. It's a 1.6 sierra clutch 190mm.
