top arm could be bent for your steering to be out of line, as for the car leaning over its defo the hydro can.

have you checked the pressure in it ?

i dout the top arm would bend as its cast, bottom arm maybe. could maybe have let the nitrogen out of the canister. or the subframe could have bent as said.

you'd be suprised, i've bent top arms (and steering arms) a few times on my mini. ok there slighly different but both cast and basically the same. also managed to bend rear trailing arms.

so far i have changed the pass side hydro unit and the full steering rack just got to bolt it back on, have looked at both the arms and compared them with k18 and my old subframe and they look ok

I reckon the nitrogen has leaked out of the hydro can. Also check the ball joints, a hard impact like that could have shattered the knuckles.

did almost exactly the same thing a while back, didn't loose height, though it sounds, as everyone else said to be the hydro unit

measure from the front subframe beam to the balljoints on each wishbone and see if the distance varies as to the ones on the drivers side

check balljoint movement/play - i'd put brand new mgf lower ones on and one was knocking seriously after the impact

also, check the top arm pivot bearings - mine were badly worn from over 100k miles and the impact finished off the passenger one and was completely mashed
