Looks soo sweet and with a 145bhp I bet it bloody flies like a wasp stung cheetah... What it like for torque steer?? Do you use a LSD and would your recommend one with that engine.. Also what box are you using it with? The standard Peugeot box or the MGF one with the subframe??

The car would get hot when idling or cruising at low revs/ high gears. So in preparation for it's MOT and return to the road, the top end was practically rebuilt, once again by Sean, consisting of; Head skim and clean, new Payen Elastomer HG, new headbolts, new cam seals, new cambelts, new waterpump, new 82 stat, fresh oil and filter, fresh OAT coolant, new lambda sensor and new alternator belt. There seems to be an existing issue of the fan cutting in nearly in the red, however it drives ok and doesn't get hot quickly upon idle. I am going to test with a pair of alternative CTSs. Here are some photos of the rebuilt, once again by Sean. Obtained some pre painted silver vents from a cabby breaking on ebay and I got some ideas from it also. (I'm not chopping my roof off! ![]() ![]() Also spent about 3 hours giving the car it's first proper clean from being laid up end of March this year. By god it was hard work. ![]() ![]()

My god, what a difference! Whole car feels much tighter and less twitchy at the rear. Fitted along with some nice new stainless bolts. ![]() Only got pic of 1 side fitted as I forgot. Lol ![]() Each of the original 56k droop stops were pretty knackered. ![]() ![]() Also, raided a modded ZR at the scrappy and amoungst other things I got a TF hand brake grip from it. I wiggled the Rover 100 one off, and the TF one goes straight on perfect fit! ![]()

GSi door caps and leather trim door cards with GTi Lux Pack half leathers. ![]() I also got a really nice condition black camcover from Sean. My local car shop was doing the allen head bolts cheap too ![]() ![]() I have also fitted a R65 quickshift that is one of my favourite mods for £20. I'd also recommend to everyone even without a quickshift to pop the rod off of it's ball joints and apply a pea sized blob of grease into each socket. It really slicked up my gear changes.
