"MG Metro 1300"![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: Warwickshire, UK | One guy did make a metro in Amaranth (No E's) but IMO it looked very odd Doing a gti conversion to your car might be abit hard unless you can get a picture of a gti in the same angle

![]() Lotus powered R100 MP Admin ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: Torbay, South Devon, UK | Nice work there - steph's done something similar to mine (i'll get her to upload it later!) one thing i would say would be that the lens flair for the headlights is a nice effect but the resulting colour spot on the left of the picture make it obvious that thats what you've done. Try experimenting with doing that effect on a seperate layer (may have to be a solid colour to do it? in which case lasso round the lights & copy them onto a black layer then set the layer mode to 'lighten'. You now have the chance to erase the colour blobs of flare that you don't want! ![]() Another tip - use a layer mask INSTEAD of using the eraser tool. Hit the mask icon on the bottom of the layers pallet (like - [ o ] - ) on the layer you want to erase, then use the brush tool to paint out the bits you want to erase (which just hides them) black to hide, white to show & shades of grey for levels of transparency. This way if you've ereased more than you wanted to - but did it so long ago its not in the history any more, you can just paint it back in with white (un-mask it). - saves you startin from scratch! (saved my ass a few times!) Just remember not to apply the mask until your completely happy with it (or save a .psd with the mask intact so you can go back if you need to!) ![]() More tips next week ![]()
