| Has anyone got a 'K' gearset or even complete gearbox? I'm really after gears 1 to 4 so everything else doesn't matter |

Location: Derby | You will also need the input shaft as 1st and 2nd gears are part of that shaft. Some variants have non standard journal sizes on both input and output shafts which makes it even more frustating. What final drive ratio you thinking of? |

| As it's actually in a mini on 10" wheels I need a tall gearset hence the 'k', I already have a 3.6 fd and was planning to use the 'k' set 1-4 with the 's' 5th which should give the tallest gears and a reasonable spread. I could use the 's' 4th but I think that would be too big a gap from 3rd to 4th. I might settle for the 'c' 1,2,3 as I have these then a 'k' 4th and 's' 5th (I have the 5th already) so I would only need the 'k' 4th set. |

Location: Derby | There's a Montego 2.0 EFI Engine & Gearbox on Ebay. The gearbox could well be a K6 so might give you the parts you need.If its a K6AR then it will have steel bearings. |
