Hi all, I'm new to the metro and the forum. I have owned many cars over the years and quite a few rovers were amongst them, sd1, 220 gti, 420 gti, 420 gsi turbo, 600 ti, 820 turbo and have had various minis in my life, in fact I've always been the owner of a mini since i was 14(grass tracker) and im now 38 and still have one!! But have yet to own a metro, until now! I have just put a deposit down on a 143 vvc metro from the classifieds off here/facebook (tony cox-itsonlyme is the seller) and looking forward to taking delivery of it this week coming  . Its just a bit of fun/toy and I'm hoping its going to be as quick if not quicker than my mates mk1 golf 16v on bike carbs what do you think? do I stand a chance lol? 1st job I want to do to the metro is get it lowered as it sits pretty high, I will be looking at doing this on a tight budget for now so whats is my best option? | |||
