How it looked on the car

Rubbed the alloy face back with wet & dry

I taped up the wheels that wont need painting

Covered the tyre

Three good coats of paint, one coat every couple minutes & two coats of lacqure

Finished wheel

The colour is Vauxhall Smoke Grey ( met )

Hope you like the colour of the wheel, it looks darker on the eye as the camera makes it look lighter than it is

i forgot to take a picture of the alloy primed

Cheers Tom, ive seen your wheels and they do look nice indeed. I was going to go Black but decided against it with you having yours that way, so i went for a nice metalic grey & looks really well on the wheels

But i do think the centres could do with being a little darker...still look good

They are quite dark but the camera is making them look very light in colour for some reason

i wouldn't use off the shelf products to spray my cars

i usually go to my autofactors or somewhere which can mix 2PK paint and use that stuff. Either 2PK or Cellulose paint. I would never touch them crap water based shit tho.

Yeah , sorry i know. I worded it wrong Im a sprayer myself, i prefer waterbased to solvent myself.

Location: Up in the lakes		ive just started two toning my mpi wheels. just sanded the first one down tonight. they were shocking and had run marks everywhere (from previous owner) and since im reshelling my tahiti se im tarting everything up.. thinking black with gunmetal grey lip.
