ralphh85 Posted 10/11/2011 7:17 AM (#635456) Subject: Gti front shock mounts Expert Posts: 9862 Location: Cornwall These may need some minor shaping to fit car perfectly, but nothing which cant be done with hands, hammer or a screw driver while welding them in. £27 a pair (one car). stainless shock bolts/large washers/spacers/nylocs also available £6. They sat nice against the flitch leg, I bolted them up using a spacer and a 17mm nut/bolt so that they were centre and they sat almost perfect! 3 small runs of weld and 2 tacks and they were fitted - these are a credit to ralphh85 and what he can do!
